Barbell Shred 101

For those of you who are back in the gym, or have a barbell at home and want to start adding some more weights into your workout routines, this one is for you!  There is no high impact or jumping around in this workout but there is a full warm up and stretch.

This is a 35 mins full body barbell workout with big compound movements that will work big muscle groups to build muscle and burn fat.  There are teaching points and form reminders throughout and you are encouraged to work on your technique before adding big weights. 

What you need:  A little bit of space, a mat/towel, a barbell (you can do the workout without any added weight just your bodyweight and a broomstick!) and some awesome vibes!

The Shred Squad Top Tip: Crank up the volume, and if you have an external/bluetooth speaker, hook it up to your laptop/phone to blast out the bangers!
